A few days ago, I sent out an email sharing a new little guide with simple tools for your nervous system. It’s called The Gentle Medicine Guide (free version).
I created this guide recently, while navigating stormy days in my inner world, struggling with deep core emotions such as identity, purpose, and belonging.
The thing is…I’ve always been someone who feels deeply.
It’s part of what led me to become a doctor — and also part of what nearly broke me within that world. Also why I became a writer early on, and a dancer later on. A sensitive nature all along. I’ve lived through nervous system burnout, a sense of emotional exile, and the ache of not quite belonging… in my body, my profession, or even my family. An exhausted nervous system can really impact us like that, affecting the way we see reality
And I know I’m not alone in that.
So many of us are walking around untethered, trying to be okay in systems that were never built for our softness. We override. We numb. We adapt. We function, sometimes brilliantly, while quietly falling apart.
That’s why I created this guide. 💌
The Gentle Medicine Guide is a quiet little place to rest, to ground. A way to bring warmth and calmness back to your day. An easy, soft manual to help us slow down and feel safe again. A note from a doctor who’s been there — not to fix you, but to remind you that you’re not wrong for feeling what you feel.
